In my art, I strive to tell stories that are innovative, daring, and genuine. I gravitate toward projects that make me think deeply about who I am and the world I want to help create, as well as heartfelt stories that inspire human connection. I think the best art I’ve seen has left me with challenging questions or a desire for positive change. This is extremely important to me because we aren’t just artists, but rather promoters of change. In telling these stories, we not only create hope for a better future, but we also connect on a deeper level as people. Some works that have inspired me include: Days of Wine and Roses, Maybe Happy Ending, Real Women Have Curves, The Notebook, and A Chorus Line. For me, these are stories that allow me to feel, think, and take a glimpse into a world that isn't my own.
